Summer Music Festival 2023 Commission Call-Out

In this year-long celebration of culture, the University of Leeds International Concert Series’ Summer Festival will embody the Leeds 2023 theme of ‘Untold, Unheard and Hidden Stories’.

The Summer Festival will feature creative, innovative and engaging concert performances that explore, amongst other areas, music by marginalised or forgotten composers, little-known or unexplored repertoire, music from communities not often represented in the classical music scene, and programmes that weave new and interesting narratives.

Committed to quality and diversity, the University’s Concert Series celebrates all genres of classical and contemporary music, connecting artists and audiences through live performance, in the spectacular Clothworkers Centenary Concert Hall.
