Colson of York | Bespoke Analogue Guitar Amps

Colson of York is a small workshop on the outskirts of York, creating handmade analogue guitar amplifiers in very limited numbers. Built by Drew Colson, each amplifier brings together a carefully chosen analogue platform, hand-built hardwood cabinet and matched speaker to create an amplifier that feels immediate, responsive and alive.

Colson amps are designed for guitarists who care about playing feel, pedal response, natural materials and amplifiers with character, presence and a story of their own. Work includes one-off builds, small named series and future private commissions, each made individually, with care, patience and no production line.
